Radio Programmes On Sunday

Sir, —The suggestion in the letter written by “Listener’ and published in the Evening Star should be ruled cut. Church services should not be broadcast at 11 o’clock on Sunday. My reason is that the people in hospital have nothing to do but be there, and they depend on a good lively programme. If church services were broadcast, my radio would not be switched on. and likewise thousands of others. Il' "Listener” wants church services, he should get up early and go to church. Station 3ZR is about the best in the country and is run on right lines. I have no complaint against it. There are other stations to which to listen if “Listener” likes to turn the knob on his radio. —Yours, etc., SATISFIED LISTENER. Gr c y mouth. August 23.
