ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL SCHOOLS’ TOURNEY AT WESTPORT: TEAMS SELECTED

The South Island Schools’ Association football championship will be held at Westport on Saturday when teams from Buller, Westland, Canterbury, South Canterbury' and Otago will participate. A senior representative match between Westland and Buller will also be played. The draw for the schools' championship is as follows: — South Canterbury v Buller B, at 11 a.m.; Otago v Canterbury, at 1 p.m.: Buller A v West Coast, at 2 p.m. The match between Buller A and West Coast wll be played as the main curtain-raiser to the senior representative match. The West Coast schoolboys’ team to play in the tournament is:—Rae, Boot, Ashby, Shadbolt. Pizzarto, Murdoch. Henderson, McNaughton, Pollock, Richmond, Marley, Rothwell. Boot, Taylor. The Buller teams are:— A team—Neilson, Nuttall, J. Porter, Blvth, Orman. Cunniffe, Love, Mullins. Jeffries, D. Porter. Stack; reserves: Battershall. Walshe, Marr. B team—Shrives.
