RAILWAY TRAFFIC MANAGER FOR COAST
An appointment has been made to fill the newly-created position of assistant traffic manager, Railways Department, Greymouth, as recently announced by the district traffic manager, Mr W. A. Breech, of Christchurch. The first occupant of this office will be Mr J. H. Williams, of Auckland, who is expected to take up duties here at an early date. The creation of the new position will give the West Coast branch of the department more direct control over operations in its district and will eliminate much of the need to refer matters to the district head office 1 in Christchurch.
