He won the Marlborough championship belt and gold medal and three cups. , . i i Masefield held a comfortable lead among the 16 riflemen who qualified for the championship and won with a total of 276 points, followed by W. A. Tritt (Christchurch), 267, and C. w'. Eden (Marlborough) and L. Bask (Marlborough), each 266.
