HUNGARIAN OLYMPIC SWIMMERS TO REMAIN IN BRITAIN
(Recd. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 15. The Home Office has given three members of the Hungarian Olympic swimming team permission to remain in Britain as political refugees. They are all students in their early twenties.
Two members of the Czech team are also seeking permission to remain. A Hungarian Legation official denied knowledge of the students’ action.
The leaders of the Czechoslovakian refugees in Germany have announced that 1500 out of 4500 Czech refugees in the American' zone of Germany will start moving to Italy next week. They will enter under an agreement, between the Italian Government and the International Refugee organisation.
