(Rec. 1 p.m.) • BERLIN, June 7.. General Sir Brian Robertson, British Military Governor, rejected the application of the British zone Communist Party to change its name to the Socialist People’s Party of Germany. “The British Military Government intends to ensure that party politics are conducted openly and honestly,” he said, “That is why parties must register their names and programmes so that the public may be aware of their avowed aims and objectives.”
