DANISH SHIP STRIKES ICEBERG IN THE ATLANTIC
(Rec. 12.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 6. The 7000-ton Danish steamer, Nevada, struck an iceberg today, 30 miles north-west of St Johns, Newfoundland. The Nevada sent a radio message saying she was proceeding to St John’s under her own steam.
