“Flying Wing” Crashes

The world’s most powerful jet aircraft, the “Flying Wing.” crashed near the Muroc air force base today, killingall five members of the crew. The aeroplane which was powered by eight jet engines with a total thrust equal to 32 000 horsepower, was destroyed.
