GREECE PREPARED FOR PEACE TALKS WITH ALBANIA
(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 4. It is learned from Greek sources in London that Greece told the United Nations Balkan Commisison she was prepared to negotiate a peace treaty with Albania with whom she is still formally at war. Diplomatic observers in London consider that the chances that the Greek move could lead to a general Balkans pacification depend, however, on a solution of the Greek guerrilla problem. In this connection the peace feeler put out by the guerrilla radio on June 1 may be the latest phase in the wider Moscowinspired peace offensive.
