(P.A.) ROTORUA, This Day. Fire swept through and almost totally destroyed the contents of a building occupied by Messrs E. Fowke and C. Tattersail as a billiards room and hairdresser respectively in Fenton street this morning. The building was owned by Mr S. J. The fire had a good hold when the brigade was notified by a milk roundsman at 5.10 a.m. The outbreak is believed to have started in the billiards saloon.
