CRICKET OTAGO FIJIAN TEAM BY 46 RUNS
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, March 16. In spite of efforts of later batsmen to retrieve the position after a disastrous start, the Fijian touring cricket team was dismissed for 196 in the second innings of its match against Otago at Carisbrook today, leaving the home side the winners by 46 runs. The Fijians were never completely at home to the slow spin bowlers, and Groves and Smith each took three wickets.
