DEATH SENTENCES ON ALLEGED SPIES IN POLAND
(Rec. 2.10 p.m.) WARSAW, March 16.
A military court sentenced to death three leading members of the Polish underground organisation, including a woman, Maria Szelagowska, on charges of being spies for General Anders and having come to Poland to organise underground opposition. Five others were sentenced to terms of imprisonment ranging from five to 15 years.
