COMBINED R.S.A HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the Blackball, Ngahere and Nelson Creek Returned Services’ Association was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall,. Blackball, recently. Mr H. Lee presided over a good attendance. The balance-sheet was submitted and passed as satisfactory. „ ~ The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: -President, Mr H. Lee; secretary, Mr D.JD. Fitzgerald, Main road; treasurer, Mr L. Rankin; committee: Messlrs G. Dudley, G. Parker, W. Campbell, B. Johnson, S. Clark, and W. Driscoll; social committee: Messrs D. Liddell, H. Steven and G. Clarke; delegates, Messrs Dudley, Rankin, and Fitzgerald; auditors, Messrs V. Wilkm and D. McDonagh; conference delegate, Mr G .Dudley. Messrs M. O’Flaherty and -*-• Turner, who have filled the positions of secretary and treasurer respectively for many years, retired, their resignations being accepted with regret. The roll showed a membership of 77. ■
