Easter Travel
Special train services will operate between the West Coast and Christchurch during the Easter holiday period. Apart from the ordinary expresses, express trains will run on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Two night passenger trains will arrive at Greymouth from Christchurch early on Good Friday morning, while another will leave Greymouth snortly after midnight. Night passenger trains will also run between Greymouth and Christchurch on Easter Monday night, and relief express trains will leave prior to the usual Tuesday morning trains. may be made as usual, 14 days prior to travelling.
