BAN ON COMMUNISTS IS PROPOSED
(Rec. 2 p.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. The Federal Parliamentary Liberal Party has decided unanimously to advocate and support a complete ban uoon the Communist Party. The decision is likely to be followed by a move in Parliament when the House of Representatives meets again after Easter.
The Liberal leader, Mr Menzies, said: “Recent events have made it quite clear that Australia’s Communism is treasonable and undemocratic.”
