OFFICERS ELECTED AT WOMEN’S BRANCH OF LABOUR PARTY
The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Greymouth women’s branch of the New Zealand Labour Party:— President, Miss Anderson, M.L.C. (re-elected); vice-presidents, Mrs P. J. McGrath and Mrs J. Minchin; secretary-treasurer, Mrs M. Pfahlert (re-elected); executive, • Miss K. Spencer, Mesdames W. Green, K. O’Brien, L. Owen and M. Baker; auditor, Mrs J. Minchin; trustees, Miss Anderson and Mrs Pfahlert; delegate to L.R.C., Mrs Pfahlert. The following were elected a social committee, Mesdames Groom, Gough, Owen, J. Minchin, McGrath, Pfahlert, Harvey, Green, Cooper, Baker and Miss M. Minchin. L.R.C. nominations were as foltows:—President, Mr P. Blanchfield (two candidates); vice-president, Mr A. Panther (three candidates); secre-tary-treasurer, Mr J. E. Laing; executive, Messrs L. Fitzsimmons, S. Gladstone, A. Panther, W. Butler and Mrs Pfcihlcrt. Two new members were nominated and accepted.
