LATE NEWS British Involved In Gun Battles In Jerusalem
(Rec. 3.10 p.m.) JERUSALEM, February 24. 'Three-corned gun battles between Jews Arabs and British broke out in the centre of the city tonight, bringing traffic to a standstill and forcing pedestrians to crouch behind walls or flat on their faces. . British police from the roof oi a central building fired Bren-guns at Jewish positions on the other side oi the Moslem cemetery. •
GOOD BOWLING BY FIJI: RANGITIKEI DISMISSED FOR 192 (P.A.) MARTON, This Day.
