RECORD PRICE RISE
(Recd. 11 a.m.) SHANGHAI, Feb. 24. The price of rice today reached the all time record of 2,700,000 Chinese dolarls per picul of 1701 b, an increase of 300,000 dollars over yesterday, the result of lifting the price ceiling. The black market value of the United States dollar dropped slightly to 255,000 Chinese dollars.
