WHARF HOLIDAY, BUT NO PICNIC
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. No work will be done on the Wellington waterfront on Thursday. It will be observed as a holiday, although the transport workers’ picnic, which was to have been held, has been cancelled. A decision to this effect was reached at a meeting of the Wellington central committee of waterfront unions.
