POLICE ARREST 1100 HINDU EXTREMISTS

The police said that altogether 1100 Hindu extremists had been arrested throughout India since Gandhi’s assassination.
A mob in Jubbulpore forced the editor of the weekly Mahasabha newspaper to drink from the gutter because he had allegedly written anti-Gandhi articles.
