Twins Seek Twin Brides
A cabled report of the arrival in Adelaide of two Scots, identical twins, who are seeking twins as brides had an immediate response in Auckland. A woman called at the office of the New Zealand Herald and asked how she could get in touch with the two men. She has been given the address of an Adelaide newspaper, and she intends to write on behalf of hex' twin daughters, who are living with her in Auckland. The two Scots are Messrs James and Andrew Swinley, aged 37, of Lochgelly, Fifeshire. They said in an interview, in Adelaide that they would not be separated. So far they had not found two women who would live together without discord. They were looking for twin girls who felt as they did. The two Auckland women are of about the same age as the inseparable twins from Fifeshire, and apparently they feel as they do, for their mother, said they were definitely interested in the proposition.— (8.A.)
