Youths for Farms

The fact that 30 per cent, of youths leaving schdols throughout the Dominion went farming was referred to by Mr G. W. C. Drake, principal of the Otahuhu Technical High School, in his annual report. An increase in the number of boys taking the agricultural course at the school was therefore important'. This year 120 were enrolled, making the course the second largest of its kind in the Dominion.
