New School Wanted

During the recent visit of the Prime Minister to Greymouth, a deputation from the Taylorville School Committee waited on him with a request that the new Taylorville School be erected as soon as possible. The deputation emphasised the need for a new building, and referred to promises made by the Canterbury Education Board. Mr Fraser promised to look into the matter on his return to Wellington, and to endeavour to speed up the erection of the new school.
