SWIMMING Marist Club Hopes For Record Season
There was an excellent attendance of members at the annual meeting of members of the Marist SwimmingClub last evening. Members intimated, that there was every indication that the season would be the most successful in the club’s history. The prospects of commencing water polo early in the season were considered, and the matter was left in the hands of the committee. The following officers were elected;—Patron, the Rt. Rev. Monsignor J. Long; spiritual director, the Rev. Father J. McCarthy; president, Mr J. Coll; vice-president, the Rev. Bro. Dominic; committee, Messrs B. Rochford, A. Mundy, W. Kennedy, J. Stokes, P. Coll, and Miss M. Coll; club captain, Mr Rochford; delegate to the West Coast Swimming Centre, Miss Coll. .
