President Truman ' will announce tomorrow what is likely to be the United States’ final “stop-gap” aid programme foi’ France, Italy and Austria, before the programme is presented to the Congressional committees.
The acting-Secretary of State (Mr Lovett) said today that all the available facts, on the. immediate dollar needs of those countries had been collated and sent to the President,
