EXTRA COUPONS FOR ROYAL WEDDING
IRec. 2 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 22. Mrs Elizabeth Manning ■ (Laboui), in a question in the House of Commons, asked the President • of the Board of Trade, Mr Wilson, what soecial allowance of coupons had been made for the Royal wedding and whether coupons would be issued to Princess Elizabeth to enable her to follow the practice of accepting wedding gifts from British inin a written reply, said 100 coupons had been issued to Princess Elizabeth for her wedding. The bridesmaids and pages had been allocated respectively 23 and iu coupons each. The Princess had asked that gifts representing British industry should be limited, m keeping with the present difficult times. The Board of Trade had undertaken to issue the necessary _ coupons and licences to enable the gifts to be accepted. —
