BULLER’S ATTITUDE TO WEST COAST AIR SERVICES
A report that the pepple.»of Greymouth were dissatisfied -with the connections to andifrom Hokitika for the'twice daily air service, now being operated by the National Airways Corporation, and were considering makirig an application through responsible bodies for a return-to the once-daily run, which operated for them at a more convenient time, was mentioned by Rev. C. W.sR. Madill.at‘ the monthly meeting of the Buller Progress League on Thursday evening. He said he hoped for the sake of the Buller . that the preserit schedule would not be changed.. Another member said that, there had been such a poor patronage of the air service from Greymouth in the past that the Corporation would possibly not be concerned over the complaint. It was, however, decided to keep in touch with developments.
