RUNANGA SUCCESSFUL FLOWER SHOW HELD BY WOMENS INSTITUTE
The keen competition in all sections was a feature of a successful spring flower show held in the Fire Brigade hall by the Runanga Women’s Institute. The results were as follows:— Trumpet daffodils, any variety: Mrs Baxendale 1, Mrs Mossop 2, Mrs J. Gillaly 3. Incomparabilis daffodils, any variety: Mrs Mossop 1, Mis Hidebrand 2, Mrs K. Barri ? daffodils, any variety: Mrs Mossop 1, Mrs Baxendale 2, Mrs Schultz 3. Camelias: Mrs Hadcroft 1. Vase of wallflowers: Mrs Farquhar 1, Mrs Sheard 2, Mrs Barker 3. Vase oi snowdrops: Mrs Barker 1, Mrs J. Wright 2, Mrs Todd 3. Vase of polyanthus: Mrs Mossop 1, Mrs H. Hadcroft 2, Mrs Hildebrand 3. 'Vase of Primroses: Mrs W. Southwaid 1.
