UPROAR AT TRADE UNION CONGRESS
(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 3. Uproar occurred in the T.U.C. Congress, when Mr G. J. Richardson, one of the fraternal delegates from the American Federation of Labour, said the Kremlin had violated its agreements regarding neighbouring States. ~ , There were cries of Rubbish and “Don’t come here to insult Russia.” Mr Richardson was allowed to continue his speech after the president, Mr G. W. Thomson, had appealed for order.
