Beath and Company. —The directors of Beath and Company, Ltd., recommend a final ordinary dividend of 5 per cent., making,, with the interim dividend of 5 per cent, already paid, a total diivdend of 10 per cent, for the year. The dividend on preference shares will be at the usual rate of 5 per cent, per annum. The transfer books of the company will close, from. September 25 to October 8, both days inclusive. More Wire-netting 4 “The outlook regarding the supply of wire-netting is much brighter,” said the Minister of Supply, Mr Nordmeyer, in Wellington, today. He added that orders for 51,500 rolls of wire-netting had been accepted by the United. Kingdom and 13,000 rolls by the United States. “These ship-' ments. are expected to arrive before the end of this year,” he said. “Practically all this wire is'36-inch.”,-The Minister said the ...orders ..totalled 64,500 rolls, against the estimated annual demand of 70.000 rolls.—(P.A.)
