KARORO WOMEN’S BOWLING CLUB ELECTS OFFICERS
There was. a good attendance of -members at the annual meeting of the Karoro Women’s Bowling Club, which was held in Harker’s lounge yesterday afternoon. Mrs T. Coll presided. Among the guests were the president of the West Coast Bowling Centre, Mr J. Stokes, and the president of the Karoro men’s club, Mr G. Batty.
The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs C. Gunn; vice-president, Mrs F. Williams; secretary, Mrs R. Reynolds; committee, Mesdames F, Dunn, P. Thomson, R. Harvey, N. Ellery, T. Coll and the executive officers.
Mr Batty presented the trophies won during the past season, as follows:—singles, and champion of champions singles, Mrs R. Harvey; pairs, Mrs C. Richardson and Mrs P. Thomson; rinks, Mesdames P. Thomson, G. Patterson, P. Joyce and N. Ellery(s); champion of champions rinks, Mesdames Thomson, Patterson, Joyce and Ellery; handicap rinks, Mesdames A. Brookes, Gilmour, F. Williams and C. Richardson (s): mixed pairs, Mesdames T. Coll and C. Dewar; junior singles, Mrs P. Coll; intermediate singles, Mrs F. Dunn.
