New military aircraft, modern arsenals, tanks and munitions will comprise the major part of the aid which Turkey will receive under the Truman Doctrine. The expenditures at present contemplated include 51,750,000 dollars for artillery, anti-aircraft guns and other ordnance, 22,000,000 dollars for arsenals and technical equipment, 10,000,000 dollars for aircraft, 6,500,000 dollars for naval needs, and 2,750,000 dollars training Turkish personnel in Turkey and the United States. . +i • lon Some purchases under this 100,-000,000-dollar enterprise will probably be made in Britain.
