Attempt Made To Burn Synagogue Near London
(Recd. 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 10. An unsuccessful attempt was made to set fire to a synagogue with oil and paint through a ground floor window. Inspector Thompson, ■of ’ Scotland Yard, found the paper had burned itself out. No damage was,done.
