FRANCE MAY RESUME TRADING WITH SPAIN
(Rec. 1 p.m.) PARIS, August 10. M. Eidault predicted a possible resumption of trade with Spain in a report to the National Assembly’s foreign affairs commission, He said France would take measures to put her on an equal footing with nations such as Britain and The United States, which had also severed diplomatic relations with Spain, but which were dealing with her commercially. The Franco-Spanish frontier has been closed since February 28» 1946.
