Chatham Cup Fixture
The Blackball association football team has been matched to play Timaru tomorrow tor the Chatham Cup. In view of the short notice given, ho.wever, Blackball Club has notified the New Zealand centre that it is impossible for it to fulfil the fixture at Timaru on only 24 hours' liolieo.
McCready Beats Bell Earl McCready boat Kay Bell on points after each had scored a fall in the Dunedin Town Hall last evening. Bell pinned McCready with a flying tackle after elbow jolts. McCready equalised with a rocking chair splits in the seventh round.—(P.A.) Basketball No second grade basketball matches will be played at Greymouth tomorrow, as the third grade representative team will travel to Hokitika with the senior A and B teams (bus 12.30 p.m.).
