NEWSPAPER CUT IN FRANCE
(Recd. 11 a.m.) PARIS, July 30. All the Paris newspapers appeared on a single sheet of two pages today as a result of the newsprint cut announced on July 23. This required all French newspapers to use the single sheet once in July, six times in August, once in September and to publish no newspapers on August 15. After September 4, the newspapers will consist of four pages daily.
