HOCKEY WEST COAST TEAMS TO VISIT BULLER

West Coast representative hockey teams will meet Buller teams in the first inter-provincial matches for some years at Westport on Saturday. The Mawhera and Newman Cups will be at stake. The men’s rep team will wear red and white jerseys and the women’s team will use blue and white uniforms.

Club matches to be played at Greymouth on Saturday are as follows:— Women. —Hokitika v Cobden 10.30 a.m., Cass Square, Hokitika (R. Day and G. Williams); Grey v Runanga 10.15 a.m. No. 2 ground (J. Sloss and R. Beckman); Trinity v St Columba 10.30 a.m. No 1 ground (E. Newton) Men.—Cobden v Rangers 9.0 a.m., No 1 ground (J. Devonport and E. Newton); Greymouth v Wheelmen No. % ground at 9 a.m. (J. Sloss and T. McKenzie).
