Germans Fleeing From The Russian Zone

(Rec. 11.10 a.m.) MUNICH, July 13 Germans fleeing from the Russian zone into Bayaria were creating a serious situation, said Mr L. M. Miniclier, chief of public welfare for the Military Government in Bavaria. A report would be made to General Clay, United States commander. Mr Adolf Uhsler,'"assistant commissioner for refugees in the German Administration, said that 30,000 had crossed the borders in the past two months. The refugees said that they had escaped from the Russian zone to avoid forced labour. The authorities sent back 1200 to the Russian zone on July 3, but have failed to discourage the exodus.
