Walnut Bread
Required: 2 cups flour, 3 level tablespoons baking powder, pinch of salt, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 cup chopped walnuts, enough milk to bind (about 1 cup), 1 egg.
Mix dry ingredients and nuts. Bind with egg and milk beaten together to a soft dough. Put in greased tin, let rise a few minutes. Bake in moderate oven about 40 minutes.
