The following weather forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— Situation: An extensive anticyclone is east of New Zealand; a depression, in the north Tasman Sea is moving on to the North Island.
Forecast to 5 p.m. tomorrow: — Light to moderate north-easterly winds predominating! some scattered light rain, probably tomorrow in the north; weather otherwise fair to cloudy; temperatures moderate. Further outlook: Fair.
