The Greymouth Jockey Club’s winter meeting has been definitely arranged to take place on June 28 at Omoto. The programme will include a hurdle race of one mile and threequarters, the first time the club has conducted a race over the battens for some years, and £960 will be offered in stakes. E The programme is as follows: — Winter Hurdles, of £150; one mile and three-quarters. .Tune Trot Handicap, of £135; 2.23 class; one mile. Kaimata Hack, of £130; six furlongs and a half. Grandstand Handicap (open), of £150; one mile and a quarter. Cobden Trot Handicap, of £135; 2.59 rate; one mile and three furlongs. Barrytown Hack Handicap, of £130; one mile. Gladstone Handicap (open), of £130; seven furlongs.
