MARTYRS OF NIMES EXTOLLED.—In the course of a tour of France last month the Prime Minister of France, M. Ramadier, paid a visit to Nimes, where a special commemoration ceremony was held by the graves of 17 Frenchmen, Poles, and Italians, members of the Underground Movement, who were executed by the Germans. M. Ramadier is shown addressing the crowd, when he strongly condemned German atrocities. Beyond the headstones can be seen a delegation of young Polish girls who attended in national costume.
