LABOUR FEDERATION TO DISCUSS POLICY

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 15. The wage and stabilisation policy of the New' Zealand Federation of Labour will be re-examined at a meeting of the national council of the federation called for May 7. The secretary of the federation, Mr K. McL. Baxter, made the following anriounecement tonight:— “The national council of the Federation of Labour is to meet on May 7 in Wellington to discuss the scope of the amendment to the Economic Stabilisation Emergency Regulations concerning the application by the federation for a general wage increase. The stabilisation policy will be further reviewed, and a report to the national conference in June will be prepared.”
