Mr Wilcox said the United tariffs reciprocally. No country concessions unilaterallv or with
Mr Wilcox said a reduction in tariffs; the elimination of restrictive measures and the abandonment of discrimination were essential to the establishment of the International Trade Organisation, the effective operation of the International Bank and Monetary Fund and the strength of the United -Nations.
The United States delegation, he added, would present a number of amendments to tffe draft charter for the International Trade Organisation. America, he said, had already submitted a preliminary list of the proposed concessions to the other 17 conferring nations. America was ready to revise these concessions in the light of concessions which others were willing to make.
