HONOLULU, March 20. Parties - of United States marines are being flown from Hawaii and Guam to the island of Peleliu to reinforce the American garrison forces in a search to capture Japanese still holding out on the island in the northern Palaus, which were taken by the American forces in 1944. The Japanese have thrown, grenades at American patrols and fired on some native villages. It is believed the Japanese are well armed and are under the command of a naval officer.
