Support for the proposal to send a New Zealand schoolboys’ League team to Australia this year was decided on by the members of the new-Iv-constituted West Coast Schoolboys' Board of Control at its first meeting last eyening. Mr N. Messenger was elected chairman. Others present were Messrs T. Coles, B. Rathbun and T. Merriman (secretary ). ' It was decided to meet club delegates at an early date to define the weights of teams and deal with proposals for the new competitions.
