Hutt Valley Retains The Nunneley Casket ; WELLINGTON, March 16. The Hutt Valley Lawn Tennis Association’s women’s team which won the Nunneley Casket from Canterbury early this season will now retain the trophy for the rest of the season. This was' the result of its win over Otago by nine rubbers to three al Mitchell Park Hutt, on Saturday m the final challenge match. Hutt was leading Otago 4-2 at the : close of play on Friday. Scores were (Hutt names first): — Singles Mrs J. Graham beat Miss M. Kerr, 6-2, 11-9. ' Mrs J. Robb beat Mrs J. Rawlinson 6-2, 6-3. ’ Mrs I. Gyles lost to Miss M. Robertson, 5-7, 5-7. Miss E. McNeill beat Mrs J. Gilkison, 6-3, 6-1. Doubles Mrs Graham and Mrs Robb beat Miss Kerr and Mrs Rawlinson, 6-1, 6-3. Mrs Gyles and Miss McNeill beat Miss Robertson and Mrs Gilkison, 6-2, 2-6, 6-3.
