Greymouth T.C. Offers Higher Stakes
The stakes for the Greymouth- : Westland Trotting Club’s meeting at Victoria Park, Greymouth, on Easter Monday, April 7, have been increased by £lOO to £l9OO, which is a figure similar to the stakes offered at the Grey Trotting Club’s New Year ingThe following is the proposed programme:— Rimu Handicap, of £lBO (trotters), 3.43 class for one and a half mjles; one mile and five furlongs. Richmond Handicap, of £lBO, 3.37 class for one and a half miles, one mile and five furlongs. Eclipse Handicap, of £260, 4.49 class, two miles. Westland Handicap, of £4OO, 3.29 class for one and a half miles, one mile and five furlongs. Otira Handicap, of £lB (trotters), 3.43 class for one and a half miles, one mile and five furlongs. Autumn Handicap, of £lBO, 3.37 class for one and a half miles, one mile and five furlongs. Easter Handicap, of £2OO, 2.56 class for one and a quarter miles, lOi furlongs. Au Revoir Handicap, of £3OO, 2.5.» class for one and a quarter miles.. 10j furlongs.
