FRANCE AND THE SAAR
ECONOMIC. UNION PLAN LONDON, Feb. 19. The French Cabinet yesterday unanimously approved the plan of the Foreign Minister, M Bidault, tor a customs and economic union of the Saar with France. The Daily Telegraph's correspondent in Paris says the plan will be readv for next months loui-Powei conference in Moscow. The correspondent adds that tne Government is not demanding political union at present, but it is hoping that the areas transferred from the Rhineland to the Saar last Jul. will be accepted by the Allies as part ol the Saar territory in spite of German obj ections.
