Pollution of Rivers.

The Grey District Acclimatisation Society has been asked by the Marine Department to submit a comprehensive report on the pollution of rivers in its district, covering the past 10 years. The Marine Department states that the inter-depart-mental committee on pollution has set up a fact-finding committee to investigate the problem and to estimate the state and growth of pollution in this country. The. aim is to list and analyse as far as possible, all complaints received, warnings issued .and prosecutions taken.
